Venda

Hi, I’m Venda I am originally from the Czech Republic and now reside in the leafy area of Staffordshire with Andy. I have always lived a very sporty, active life, particularly with skiing and was lucky to represent my home country in the Olympics. Unfortunately, I suffered an injury to my knees and back which prevented me from competing any further. I tried various medications to ease the pain but nothing worked and the side effects were often worse than the pain. Then, 6 years ago I was introduced to CBD and I have never looked back.

In 2019 we took a trip back home to see my mom and caught up with an old friend, Radek. We got chatting about life and it was then that he told me all about his business Unique Therapeutics. I was intrigued as I already knew that CBD worked for me. He gave me some products to try and I took them to my mom. My poor mom suffers from arthritis, scoliosis, Crohn’s disease and is also diabetic. As you can imagine she was on a cocktail of medications. She tried the CBD spray and cream for 2-3 days and the pain and stiffness she was suffering had eased dramatically.

I began going through the menopause and found myself feeling anxious over the smallest of things, that paired with hot flushes and night sweats left me with a big daily challenge. After using the CBD oil I found that all the menopausal symptoms subsided and most of all, my anxiety levels decreased dramatically. 

Andy

I’m Andy. Like Venda, I love sports and have spent the majority of my life boxing, mountain biking, practicing jujitsu, and even playing semi-professional football. Thankfully, I’ve never suffered anything more than a few aches and pains from overexerting myself. My experience with using CBD came in lockdown after I caught Covid-19.

I found that my sleep pattern completely changed and once I began to recover, my ability to fall asleep and stay asleep didn’t come back. Lack of sleep began to affect my mood, my appetite, and my mental well-being. As a firefighter, it is essential that I am on my game at all times and the lack of sleep began to take its toll.

I had seen how well CBD had worked with Venda and her mom, so I decided to give it a go. The first night I tried the gummies I had the best night's sleep I think I have ever experienced! I literally woke up in the same position I had fallen asleep in. I wasn’t tossing and turning all night and I woke up feeling fresh and revived. It didn’t make me feel sluggish the next day, I felt great.

After a while, we gave my dad CBG and CBD as he was suffering from onset dementia. My mom told us that he had his sparkle back, he was back to his fun, witty and jolly self. How lovely is that?
